storyboard

okay so here is our storyboard, at the moment we are just going to go with what we have got and start filming, if we feel something needs cutting we'll cut it, or if somethings needs adding, we'll add it! :)
hope you like it!

  1. Girls.

This is a good start but it feels somewhat 'flat' in places.Think about pacing and range of shots, there is important information which may be overlooked if you fail to make use of close ups. At the minute it feels very much boy meets girl and live happily ever after. The death of the father and the absence of the mother don't serve any great narrative purpose yet so that'll need clearing up.

Try and record an audio commentary outlining your thoughts and ideas. Even a rough sound scape would be nice. I can hear the alarm from outside the house, would that not scare the birds?

Sorry if this seems really negative, that is not my intention and certainly not what I think of your excellent work. I just feel you need to strengthen the role of the parents in the narrative and possible 'flesh out' the female character more.

Look back at Shane Meadow's work and see how he add's depth to his characters.
